Who we are

The Digital Terrestrial Television and Fibre Installers Association is a national platform created to organise, represent, and protect the interests of DTT and fibre installers throughout South Africa. Installers are essential to the success of the country’s digital migration and broadband expansion programmes, yet many operate in challenging conditions without adequate representation. DTTFIA exists to change that.

DTTFIA supports national initiatives such as digital migration and broadband expansion by facilitating organised installer participation. Through these efforts, the association works to safeguard the long-term sustainability and growth of installer businesses, particularly small, medium, and micro-enterprises (SMMEs).

The Digital Terrestrial Television and Fibre Installers Association (DTTFIA) serves as the collective voice of DTT and fibre installers, acting on a mandate from its members to represent and protect their interests. It also intervenes when installers experience unfair treatment, exploitation, or exclusion within the industry.
